      The Amateur Division is the most competitive division.
      Winners qualify for the USASA Region III National Cup Championship
      The USASA Region III National Cup Championship is being held in Raleigh, NC June 9 - 11, 2017
      Regional Winners Advance to the USASA National Cup Finals
       
      Carolinas Cup Divisions WILL BE CAPPED AT 8 TEAMS
      Each Division will have a Gold and Silver Division
       
      Men’s Amateur
      Women’s Amateur
       
      The tournament committee reserves the right to close a division or merge divisions due to lack of team registration.
      ***Criteria: Divisions of 7 teams will NOT be formed.  If that occurs, the number of teams will be reduced to 6 by returning the application of the last team to apply.  
      4 Team Minimum for each division.
      Teams registered will receive a full refund if not placed in a division.
       
      Teams will self elect Gold or Silver Divisions.
      Gold Division Qualifies Team for Region III National Cup
      Groups will be formed on the following basis, past competition standings/league standings and geography.

      Gold and Silver Divisions were adopted to expand interest in the State Cup and to provide a fair and competitive environment for all teams to have the experience of competing for a Title.
       

      Teams and players must be registered and in good standing with their State Association.

      • All players must possess their current USASA player passes for the duration of the tournament to participate. To register or to add new players to new or existing teams, teams must register through their state association or obtain a single event pass through NCASA.

      • Registration will not be allowed at the tournament. Single Event Passes are ALLOWED in ALL Divisions.

      • Team rosters will consist of a maximum 22 players, including guest players.

      • All guest players and player transfers must be registered through their state association or obtain a single event pass through NCASA.

      • Guest players must be currently registered USASA players and possess their current player pass or single event pass.

      • Players may register in two separate divisions.

      • Team’s Certified rosters must be submitted by Roster Freeze Deadline of November 28th, 2016.

      • Professional Players (Domestic, International, and Foreign born) MUST provide a copy of their approved Amateur Reinstatement from US Soccer no later than the deadline in order to participate. NO EXCEPTIONS.

        SPECIFIC TO MEN’S AMATEUR

      • A minimum of 7 players from the team’s current roster is required.

      • Guest Players must be a USASA registered player
